Former Columbia student Mahmoud Khalil’s lawyers seeking immediate release on free speech grounds

Nearly 100 protesters were arrested Thursday after staging a sit-in at Trump Tower demanding former Columbia student and pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil’s release from an ICE facility in Louisiana.
