(Daniel Montes) – A major highway connector in San Francisco has been shut down this afternoon due to an investigation into a potential armed robbery, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported around 12:50 p.m. on the connector between southbound U.S. Highway 101 and southbound Interstate Highway 280, CHP Officer Vu Williams said.

A vehicle on the highway reportedly boxed-in another vehicle, the suspects then robbed the victim’s in the boxed-in vehicle and fled the scene.

The connector has been shut down as the CHP investigates the incident. So far, no injuries have been reported, according to VU.

    Sounds like either jewelry was involved or money from a pot shop was being moved.
