Letter: Water and almonds — it’s a cyclical process

Regarding Bill Monroe’s misleading letter on January 13 about almonds and water used. Lesson: A single almond contains very, very little water. Less than an 1/16 a teaspoon, I’d guess. One-plus gallons of water will not fit in an almond.  So, where did the rest of the gallon+ go? The law of “Conservation of Matter”
