(by Daniel Montes) – An unspecified threat made over the phone to the San Francisco Hall of Justice today has prompted an increased law enforcement presence at the building, sheriff’s officials said.

The caller placed the threat today for the building at 850 Bryant St., which houses the city’s superior court, the district attorney’s office and the jail.

This afternoon deputies along with a San Francisco Police Department K-9 unit swept the hall of justice but found nothing unusual, sheriff’s spokeswoman Nancy Hayden Crowley said.

The building has not been evacuated.
