Bay Area researchers brace for Pres. Trump’s $4 billion cut to medical funding

“You’re cutting universities at the knees. You’re not letting research continue. This is not how you conduct science.” The National Institutes of Health is expected to cut funding by $4 billion to researchers working on everything from cancer to HIV. The order by the Trump Administration is taking effect on Monday.
