Source: 49ers hiring QB Mac Jones four years after nearly drafting him
Quarterback Mac Jones, passed over by the 49ers with the No. 3 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, agreed Wednesday night to join them as Brock Purdy’s backup on a two-year contract, a league source confirmed.
