Mudslides, heavy rain impact residents hit by L.A. area wildfires: “It is terrifying”
In southern California, including areas hit by last month’s deadly wildfires, mudslides created dangerous conditions, trapping drivers at times. Meanwhile, farther north on the West Coast, icy roads and limited visibility caused a massive pileup 30 miles east of Portland with at least 30 vehicles involved.
