San Mateo Co. court judges worry about their safety, claim deputies asleep on the job
The most shocking of all was a San Mateo County sheriff’s deputy ignoring protocol, escorting three male inmates and a female back to jail from court. The judges said he kept his back turned long enough for the woman to be raped twice in an elevator.
